Statistics from 3 European championships in 2018

Is not a secret that I love statistics from any Kyokushin tournament. And thanks to Kumite Technology we all have access to this information.

Lets start with IFK Euro 2018

Number of participants: 540
Women: 166
Men: 374
Number of countries: 24

The tournament was open to all Organization and divided into 4 age groups – children, cadets, juniors and men and women 18+

According the last statistics, IFK have 54 countries members. Almost half of them took a part of this tournament.

Shin EC 2018

Number of participants: 384
Women: 152
Men: 232
Number of countries: 27
Number of dojos: 121

The tournament is only for WKO (E.K.O.) members and divided into 2 age groups – juniors and men and women 18+. The European championship for Cadets U-16, MW U-21 and MW 18+ Open weight category will be held 23-25 November 2018, Budapest, Hungary

According the last statistics, WKO have 94 countries members.

WKB Euro 2018

Number of participants: 511
Women: 161
Men: 350
Number of countries: 17

The tournament was open to all Organization and divided into 4 age groups – children from 8 y.o. !!!, cadets, juniors and men and women 18+

I don’t know how many Kyokushin national organization are WKB members.

For me conclusion is: less kids, more adults = the right formula for good tournament.
